The Nether Purge has begun, and for the first time ever, get ready to lose everything!
The goal is simple: Collect the most Purge Points (Player Heads) scattered throughout the Nether wastes. But surviving the terrain is the least of your worries.
⚔️ The Rules of Engagement
To enter the fray, use /warp purge. This will take you to the central gate. Once you step through that portal, the usual rules of the overworld no longer apply.
Inventory Risk: For this weekend only, Keep Inventory is DISABLED within the Nether. If you fall to a mob—or a fellow player—your loot and your hard-earned Purge Points will drop.
The Point System: Each "Purge Point" you find or steal is a renamed player head. On Monday, these will be manually counted.
The Bounty: Every single head is worth $1,000 in-game currency.
No Shortcuts: You cannot place Obsidian to build new portals, and Ender Chests are disabled to prevent you from hiding your stash. To bank your points, you must fight your way back to the original portal and exit the way you came. TP commands now have a cost. /back is disabled.
🏆 The Grand Prize
While everyone gets a payday for their heads, only one warrior can be crowned the Purge Champion. The player with the highest head count on Monday will receive:
The Purge Trophy: A unique, one-of-a-kind item to display your dominance.
The Forbidden Blade: A legendary sword enchanted with Sharpness VI.
